This package is intended primarily for groups or couples. All packages are organized for transport from Montreal to the site. However, for those wanting to travel to Schefferville or to the site by their own means, it is possible to obtain a special price.

Number of Places Available
Groups must have a minimum of four people. However, it is possible to obtain a package deal for groups of less than four. The total cost of such a package will be approximately the same as for a group of four people.
General Program
Day 1 Montreal / Traditional Camp
- Departure from origin point to Schefferville and then a hydroplane from Schefferville to the George River and the traditional camp. Night under the tent (dinner only).
Day 2 Traditional Camp
- (Breakfast) General presentation on Aboriginal peoples and the Innu. Visit and interpretation of the camp. Exploration of the surrounding area. Preparation of traditional meals (caribou, salmon, etc.). Traditional style lunch and evening meal. Night under the tent.
Days 3 and 4 River Excursion
- (Breakfast) Guided outings with a rabaska (traditional canoe) to archaeological and historic sites. Lunch taken on the river. Traditional style evening meal and night under the tent at secondary camp. Return to the main camp on Day 4.
Day 5-6-7 Traditional Camp
- Interpretation of the caribou. Demonstration on the use of animals (caribou, bears, etc.). Guided hike onto the tundra. Evening in Makusham (banquet and traditional dress). Night under the tent (3 meals provided).
Day 8 George River / Montreal
- Breakfast only. Return by hydroplane from the George River to Schefferville and then a chartered flight to Montreal.

Price: $3,650 CA per person
Price includes :
- 6 nights lodging in the tent;

- Breakfast on Day 1;
- Lunches on Days 1 and 6;
