Aventures Ashini is a member of the Société touristique autochtone du Québec (STAQ). To this effect, we adhere to all the quality and safety standards established by STAQ. They are responsible for outlining the skills and abilities necessary for the development of Aboriginal tourism. By frequenting a company that applies the norms and ethical standards developed by STAQ, the consumer is assured of finding a product that conforms to the standards and criteria recommended and compatible with the objective of developing a sustainable tourism.

With the goal of presenting an authentic and educational tourist package, a research plan on the customs and the ancestral way of life of the Innu has been completed.

Aventures Ashini has acquired an extremely relevant data bank on the Innu, an operation made possible thanks to the production, for over half a century, of an important quantity of diverse studies and documents concerning the Innu culture in general, as well as its numerous characteristics : settlements, ancestral way of life, migrations, etc.
