Ms. Ashini has been a nurse in Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal environments for over 30 years. Mother of three children, she lived among Quebeckers, far from the communities, beside a non-Aboriginal husband for several years.
Very involved in her environment, she is dedicated to offering quality services to the population in their native language, Innu.
Follow the story of her nomadic life with her parents and her unusual journey towards adaptation to Quebec and Canadian life.
Our guides, cooks, and animators are all Innu from the community of Matimekush Lac-John. They each possess a great knowledge of the traditional Innu way of life and are eager to pass on a part of their knowledge. The animation, wheter on-site or during the excursions will be in the hands of a proud and competent team.
Moreover we can add specialized animators or trainers in specific fields such as archaeology, photography, Aboriginal rights and ethnology, as well as opinion makers. These external resources are called upon to meet specific requests equally for the recreational packages as wall 20 for the business packages.

Experts in the various aspects of the region and the great outdoors, we have at our disposal traditional equipment necessary to accommodate our clients: Aboriginal tents, groundsheets, fir branches, stoves, and other objects useful in an arctic environment.
In order to make the experience even more safe and comfortable, a back-up power supply is present on the site which, nevertheless, remains very discreet. Out of respect for the environment, we use solar heating panels that can, if necessary, fulfill certain needs of the camp (recharging of video or photographic equipment, for example).
The provision of first aid supplies and the food furnished at the site can respond to all situations and all tastes. Traditional meals, prepared and served daily, draw their flavour from their freshness.
Sanitary equipment is also part of the basic conveniences.
